Instructor Development Course

The foundation of PADI instructor development is the instructor development course (IDC) held by a PADI Course Director. The IDC consists of the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program.

Specialty Instructor Courses

SPI

After becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, you will also be able to conduct a wide variety of diving courses obtaining separate PADI Specialty Instructor qualifications.
