Safe boat and drift diving

Delayed Surface Marker Buoy Specialty Course

Delayed Surface Marker Buoy SP

Available every day starting from 1 person!

Many divers wouldn't think of diving without carrying a delayed surface marker buoy (DSMB), and in some locations it's considered required safety equipment. Knowing how to properly deploy and manage a DSMB are valuable skills learned in this course.

Useful when drift diving at boat points. Be prepared in case you get lost. If you practice, you can calm down and let people around you know. Especially useful in Mikomoto, where you can see hammerhead sharks, and Okinawa's Yonaguni Island, so that you can dive with a little more peace of mind.

Schedule

After completing the course...

You will be able to inflate a DSMB while floating in neutral buoyancy during drift diving.
